Virginia Club
Virginia Club
The Virginia Club, located at 112 Brooke Avenue, west of Boush Street and east of Granby Street, in the heart of the financial and business district of Norfolk, was organized at a meeting of Norfolk’s leading gentry on June 26, 1873. It is the oldest club of its type in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
While retaining its unique character, the Club has remained a magnet to Norfolk’s business leadership and currently attracts membership from the diverse executive ranks of the area’s leading corporations, its learned professions, and its judiciary.
Throughout the Club’s existence, there runs a strong and steady pattern of conviviality and good fellowship, in itself an enviable attainment for any club and one that deserves meritorious comment and prideful acclaim.
