Robbyn G. Gayer
As President for 2024-2025, I extend to you a warm welcome in the finest tradition of the Virginia Club. Our organization is the oldest of its type in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We were founded by some of the most important figures in Norfolk’s, and Virginia’s, history. Our home at 112 Brooke Avenue is in the heart of the Downtown Norfolk Historic District. Won’t you consider making some “history” yourself and decide to become a member of the Virginia Club? You will always be in the best of company.

Robbyn G. Gayer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but soon found his home in Virginia. He was raised in the Shenandoah Valley and still maintains a family vacation property in the western part of the state.
Robbyn is a regionally-minded citizen of Hampton Roads who resides in the Ghent area of Norfolk. He was an honor’s graduate of Longwood College. After Longwood he continued his education at Old Dominion University. At ODU he studied alongside the particle research team at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator – JLAB.
As a businessman, he serves as First Vice President of Wealth Management UBS Financial Services Inc. where he leads Lighthouse Wealth Consultants. As a citizen, he has helped found and served in leadership roles in numerous professional and charitable organizations, including the Noblemen Charity.
Robbyn served as the past President of the Future of Hampton Roads, Inc. FHR is a non-profit, non-political regional organization dedicated to improving the lives of citizens of Hampton Roads. Additionally, Robbyn has served as the President of the statewide organization Virginians for High Speed Rail.
Robbyn served on the Envision 2020 Regional Branding Task Force. He also served on the Regional Advisory Panel for Hampton Roads Transit's, Transit Transformation Project.
Robbyn is married to the love of his life Terri Gayer and together they have two amazing sons, Jasper age 12 and Gavin age 9. When Robbyn isn’t working or helping in the community he enjoys playing guitar, and traveling the world.
